Thanks to open houses throughout the voyage, our crew spent probably more time than they’d like to admit playing along with the intergalactic adventures and super hero battles. Many Guests are surprised to learn that Room Service is included at no additional charge on their Disney Cruise. Almost everything on the room service menu — with the exception of a few items such as prepackaged candies or canned soft drinks — can be brought to your room at no additional charge.
DCL's upcoming island destination called "Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point"
The first sailing is slated for June 9, 2022, with three- and four-night sailings going to Bahamas and Castaway Cay, and bookings will open May 27. For any cruises listed, Cruise Critic does not guarantee any specific rates or prices. In all my years of experience with Disney Cruises, she is the most controversial ship to date – although I am guessing that Disney Adventure is going to take this crown when she is launched. Disney Wish – sailing from Port Canaveral on 3 and 4-night Bahamas Cruises. Even if you don’t have children make sure that you go and look around at one of the Open Houses that they have every day. Until you have seen a show onboard a Disney Cruise you really can’t fully appreciate just how high quality the productions are.
A reimagined kids club
Breakfast is fairly basic, with options like made-to-order omelets and pancakes. A cruise on the Disney Wish is a magical experience that will create lasting memories for the entire family. While there is plenty of Disney pixie dust for the fans, from character meet-and-greets to movie screenings and themed parties, Disney Wish is also suitable for those interested in a more traditional cruising experience. Disney is easily the best cruise line for kids, especially when you consider how many youth programs they offer on their ships. Everything about the ship feels sparkly and new — and the beautiful staterooms are no exception. With modern decor and subtle Disney touches, including artworks that capture the magic moments of beloved stories, the rooms are clean, stylish, and surprisingly spacious.
Rapunzel's Royal Table
The classic kids menu options of macaroni and cheese and chicken strips are readily available as well. Be sure to find the towering piles of crab legs and poached shrimp that grace the buffet line as well. For kids ages 3 to 12, pricing for the event is $220 and includes lunch and a goodie bag filled with gifts like an Olaf hat, a mandolin and a plush troll doll. Breakfast here is fairly basic but more relaxing than hitting the buffet line.
Disney Wish 3 Night Bahamian Cruise
The restaurant is part of Disney's rotational dining service for dinner but is also open for breakfast and lunch. Dinner is a four-course meal inspired by French cuisine with dishes like spinach souffle, rack of lamb and creme brulee. My favorite rotational dining restaurant on Disney Magic is Rapunzel's Royal Table, which is themed after the Disney movie "Tangled." The restaurant features dinner and a show. Enjoy a meal while being entertained by Rapunzel, Flynn Rider, the thugs and ruffians from The Snuggly Duckling and a live band, who are all celebrating Rapunzel's birthday. One of the best parts about traveling on Disney Cruise Line is rotational dining – a concept that remains exclusive to the fleet — which means you’ll only eat at each of the three dining halls once during your 3-night trip.
The Champagne brunch at Enchante is a prix-fixe meal paired with a glass of Champagne, while Just Desserts is a five-course dessert menu served with some of the best coffee on the ship. The menu at Worlds of Marvel is themed after the different fictional and real locations featured in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, like Wakanda, New York and Sokovia. Highlights of the menu include a pork belly bao bun, chicken schnitzel and a lamb shawarma salad. If you're looking for a vegetarian option, the ricotta gnocchi with fontina cheese and pesto sauces is a delightful plate. The christening ceremony was held on June 30th (pierside at Port Canaveral Terminal) and attended by Bob Chapek (The Walt Disney Company's CEO) and Josh D'Amaro (Chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products).
Entertainment on the Disney Wish
There are 53 Concierge Class staterooms that include additional perks and access to the wonderful forward-facing Concierge Lounge enclave on Deck 12. A total of 23 Concierge Suites represent the most lavish seagoing luxury aboard Disney Wish, including the massive two-level Concierge Tower Suite inset within the ship's forward (dummy) funnel. During dinner, the restaurant provides a table service experience with entrees made to order (still included in the cost of your cruise). Disney Cruise Line offers a wide variety of dining options to please everyone from picky kids to epicurean adults. With treats like unlimited ice cream available near the pool, chicken tenders and fries to munch on while watching a movie and build-your-own taco bowls available on various ships, you'll always find something tasty. Cruisers looking for a spot to enjoy a meal at a leisurely pace will love Royal Palace.

Oceaneer Club
Alternatively, you can call room service from your cabin phone to order in the morning. While most food and snacks on Disney Cruise Line are included, some options are not, including Frozone Treats. This small snack stand whips up poolside smoothies for an extra cost that can be charged to your onboard bill. On four-night or longer sailings, Remy also offers brunch and a dessert event, which are $80 and $65, respectively. Brunch at Remy is prix fixe with dishes like lobster cannelloni and sea bass, plus a glass of Champagne and a dessert.
All-new Dining Experiences on the Disney Wish
Just like many modern cruise ships, Disney Wish has a high proportion of Verandah and Oceanview staterooms. Adding to the exciting complement of staterooms and suites onboard Wish is the newly announced Wish Tower Suite. The 1,966-square-foot, double-decker accommodations will reside in the forward funnel (actually a hollow smokestack without any noisy infrastructure), with interiors inspired by the animated film “Moana” and its Oceania themes. Palo is also coming back as Palo Steakhouse (for adult specialty dining), serving Italian cuisine in addition to American prime cuts, Australian wagyu and Japanese Kobe and Miyazaki beefs.
The "Oceaneer's Club" features the "Andy's Room" (with oversized Disney characters for kids to climb on) and the "Laugh Floor" (with its "laugh-o-meter" and Mike and Sully of "Monsters Inc"). The "Oceaneer's Lab" is maritime-themed, featuring an Animator's Studio and a small Sound Studio. The new Disney approach allows all kids ages 3-10 to access the same clubs with separate rooms and age-related activities. If you’re looking for a stateroom that offers an elevated cruise experience, concierge-level rooms offer exactly that.
Beds on are raised to allow underbed storage for 2 medium-sized suitcases. Each cabin has as standard amenities 2 mirrored vanities with chairs, 22-inch smart HDTV (satellite reception, infotainment system), iPod docking station, 2 rechargeable "Wave Phones" (for shipwide use). Kids of all ages will love the themed spaces and fun programming available on the Disney Wish.

Children will also enjoy a feature called the Oceaneer Club, which hasn't been utilized on any of Disney's previous four cruise ships. Our Disney cruise food guide has all you need to know about dining options across the cruise line's fleet, including where to find them and whether they cost extra or are included in your fare. We also answer some of the most popular questions about dining and food on Disney Cruise Line. Inaugurated in 2022, Disney Wish is the newest addition to Disney Cruise Line. It also happens to be the largest ship in the fleet, clocking in at 144,000 gross tonnage with the capacity to carry 5,555 guests.
